Komati Group Social Development is a non-profit company that was established in 2017 with the aim to uplift local communities to ensure a healthy workforce and a better future for all.
Komati Fruit Group offers a wide range of community-centric initiatives across all our production regions. Through a collaborative effort involving Komati Fruit Group, partnering supermarkets like Waitrose, the Albert Heijn Foundation, and affiliated foundations, we are wholeheartedly committed to carry on 36 distinct social development projects. These projects encompass various activities, including sewing, welding, vegetable cultivation, and adult basic education training (ABET). The focus of these projects lies in nurturing the following six domains: Health, Education, Social Progress, Sports and Leisure Advancement, Skill Enhancement, and Self-Sufficiency. Together, these components work establish an equilibrium within our communities, ensuring a more promising and prosperous future for all.
